Bill is a senior hypnotherapy lecturer & has taught at Post Graduate Diploma level as part of an MSc programme.
As an expert in the field, he has contributed to radio & television programmes including various series covering anger management, addiction treatment, eating disorders, OCDs and extreme phobias. He has also presented at a number of medical conferences worldwide to promote the role of hypnotherapy.

Such approaches may include:

Why I am passionate about hypnotherapy
“I have been interested in hypnosis and hypnotherapy for a very long time, I bought my first hypnosis books as a teenager. I wanted to learn more about how the human mind works.
As a therapist, I believe that the absence of psychological distress should be an intrinsic human right and will do everything in my power to enable my client’s to regain control over their lives. This is why I keep my fees as low as they are.
I am also a great believer in the power of science and blend new treatment strategies such as EMDR into my work as a hypnotherapist. Doing so substantially increases the probability of change, the depth of change and the longevity of change.”
Personal achievements & history
His personal achievements scaling several high-altitude peaks including Everest Base Camp 5,500M (Nepal), Annapurna Base Camp 5,000M (Nepal) and Kilimanjaro 6,000M (Tanzania). Bill used his skills to overcome justifiable fears of altitude sickness before ascending his first high altitude mountain.
He is also a PADI certified (Open Water) scuba diver with experience in Thailand, Egypt and Tanzania (Zanzibar). Before learning to scuba dive he used his therapy skills to overcome fears of enclosed spaces / deep water. The ultimate test of this changed state was to undertake several deep-water dives through a large shipwreck at 90M in the Red Sea! Bill also has an interest in Buddhism and has spent time at a number of Buddhist monasteries learning aspects of the Buddhist approach to meditation and wellbeing.
Bill has also spent time as a U.N. NGO aid-worker working in the Balcans and Albania during highly active phases of both conflicts. As a result, he has an extensive understanding of PTSD and trauma in general from a survivor’s perspective.
