Hypnosis is a very natural state, akin to daydreaming or meditation. Hypnotherapy is a very natural, powerful, positive and gentle therapy for healing. The hypnotherapist allows this healing state to be activated and guides the therapeutic changes in the subconscious mind so that a person's wishes can be addressed. These may be to lose weight, stop smoking, increase self-esteem and self worth or gain freedom from anxiety. When seeking to work directly with the subconscious mind the control centre is accessed - the root of current feelings, behaviours and beliefs.

Hypnotherapy is a very powerful therapy, however you can rest assured that you cannot be made to think, feel or do anything that is not right for you or is against your core beliefs. While under hypnosis you are fully in control and can bring yourself out of hypnosis and back to full awareness at any time.

Hypnotherapy is a healing partnership and everything that happens is as a result of co-operation and consultation.
